REDESIGNED SOFTAIL FRAME

As the latest in the Softail line, the Sport Glide gets all the benefits of riding a Softail frame, including awesome style and superior performance. The Softail family is one of the most beloved motorcycle families from Harley-Davidson, partially because of their unique Softail hidden monoshock rear suspension that provides cleaner lines and better handling. The Sport Glide adds a few upgrades to this, like a 34% stiffer frame and an overall lighter bike. This means you’ll have a more controllable, responsive bike, even around the tightest corners and hardest lines. Plus, even though the Sport Glide is on the lightweight side of the Softail spectrum, it comes with high performance suspension to make it possible for you to pack on the extra cargo you’ll need for long trips and not have to worry about messing up the quality of your ride.

MILWAUKEE-EIGHT ENGINE

You know what would make the Sport Glide even better? A brand new engine. The Sport Glide comes standard with the all-new Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine, a machine packed with over a century of engineering innovation and riding experience. This electronically fuel injected V-Twin engine is packed with massive torque and responds faster from 0-60 mph and 60-80 mph than previous Softail models. It’s also sleek to fit perfectly in the slim profile of the Sport Glide. Not to mention, the Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine is completely counterbalanced, so you’ll get all the power and purr you want without the bone-jarring vibration.

TOURING READY

The real draw of the Sport Glide is its versatility. Whether you need it for casual commuting or all-day touring, the Sport Glide can handle it all. Its lightweight stature makes it ideal for cruising, but also makes long-distance travel more agile and easier to handle. The Sport Glide also comes with a mini-fairing to keep the winds off your body and make you less exhausted at the end of the day. The low-vibration Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine keeps your ride smooth from start to finish and, for all the extra baggage you’ll need for a long ride, the Sport Glide also comes with hard-side locking saddlebags to keep your cargo safe and out of the way. If you need a way to make cruising a little easier, the saddlebags and the mini-fairing are easily removable to lighten your load. You’ll be able to switch from cruiser to touring bike on a dime.

TECHNOLOGY WITH STYLE

Finally, it wouldn’t be a proper Harley-Davidson motorcycle without some of the best features to go with it. If you’re all about the style of your bike, you’ll be happy to know the Sport Glide comes with some of the best styling choices, including blacked out Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine, blacked out mufflers, and Mantis cast aluminum wheels.
